WHAT’S IN IT

Recovery Protein is designed to be the optimal workout recovery formula. Do another curl, run another lap, out-bench your goal, and then get right back at it tomorrow with a strong recovery protein formula that has Revigor HMB.

WHY IT WORKS

Recovery Protein is made with 1.5 grams of HMB to protect muscle tissue by reducing the breakdown of protein and preserve muscles by strengthening muscle cell integrity. The 20 grams of whey protein include 4.9g branched chain amino acids (BCAAs). Research shows that BCAAs help muscles recuperate after strenuous exercise and may help reduce exercise related muscle damage. Refuel and restore energy with 40 grams of carbohydrates to keep going strong after a hard workout.

HOW TO USE IT

Take up to 2 servings daily, either post-workout, as a snack, or part of 5 to 6 smaller meals a day. Maximize post workout benefits by taking it within 30 minutes following a workout.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Helps build muscle I have been using this product for about a week after runs and am able to have a quick recovery. Before I used this product I would be sore for 2-3 days after running. When I drink this after my runs I am barely sore the next day, plus I can do more miles in less time. I feel like I am getting stronger. I would recommend this to anyone plus it's cheaper than some of the powders I've seen out there. May 14, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Cold weather activity I work out during the week, but my winter weekends are spent ice fishing from sunup to sundown, in temps from 30's to 25 below. When I get in from the cold, its Recovery Protein to help me get warmed up, help get the COLD out of my muscles. May 1, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by great taste with milk or water I use this every time after my workouts and it seems to really help me recover fast. I'm not so sore 2-3 days later like I was before I started using this. May 1, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy & Quick Recovery I use this as a quick recovery. It gives me time to cool down and relax before getting a recovery meal ready. April 30, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Like it so far I'm just finishing up my first container of this product. I've been using it as my recovery drink after runs of an hour or longer (training for my first half marathon). The 2:1 carb to protein ratio is good, and the type of carb and protein provides a quick uptake and recovery, which so far seems to be helping me improve time and endurance better than before, and making the next run better. Prior to this I was trying a few different things, including chocolate milk. April 29, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Ratio Does the research say -- two to one carbs to protein; or is it two to one protein to carbs? Please check your research tab vs product ratio. April 25, 2013
