100% EAS Certified Program
As part of a global healthcare company, we leverage Abbott's high-quality standards in our manufacturing. From raw ingredient to finished product we assure the quality of our EAS products. EAS Sports Nutrition is the first major brand to achieve 100% certification. The EAS 100% Certified program includes:
- 100% Qualification — We rigorously "qualify" ingredients, suppliers and facilities by performing site assessments and on-going performance and process reviews. Dedicated EAS quality teams regularly audit and assess manufacturing facilities against Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure compliance with all Abbott, regulatory and certification standards and requirements.
- 100% Quality Assurance — We monitor and perform over 100 quality control checks from raw ingredient to finished product stages — testing for contaminants that are often found in the environment and verifying that finished products meet label claims.
- 100% Certification — Standing behind our quality, we've taken the extra step to engage leading, independent labs — NSF® International and HFL® Sports Science — to validate our quality processes and conduct banned substance testing on EAS products. Certified EAS products will be marked with a "tested and true" seal.
Certification Partners
EAS Sports Nutrition wants athletes and fitness enthusiasts to be 100% confident when choosing EAS products at the shelf. To provide this assurance, the EAS brand has partnered with two global industry leaders focused on sports nutrition safety and testing — NSF International, an independent, not-for-profit health and safety organization; and HFL Sport Science, a world-renowned sports substance control and research laboratory.
